I used one of the circuit boards from my primary objects to create this print. First I removed the background from the image with the magic wand tool, I then filled in random sections with a gradient fill; I removed some more random sections. I then changed the colours using the colour balance tool and added the Sumi-e filter onto it. I repeated them all over the page. I then selected one and made this a brush present I made the ones in the background a dark grey by changing the colours at the bottom of my page I then changed my colours around so the white was the first colour and the black was the background colour. I printed a few of these over the top. I think this is really graphic and bold you can't tell they're circuit boards to me they look almost like cameras. I think the contrast between the colours works really well I could have improved this by flipping these horizontally to make the image more interesting rather than having them all go the same direction. I feel this could also be quiet hard to match up as it is quite complex.
I made this image from the metal pipes I found outside of the college building I felt they really went with my theme as they were metallic and industrial. I made the background which was a brick wall green using the hue and saturation adjustment. I then started filling the page with the pipes and layered some on top of one each other. I added the posterize adjustment to all the pipes. I made the background out of the define brush present background from my circuit board print (see above) I made this a dirty dark brown colour to go with my colour scheme and my theme. I think this would be difficult matching up the pattern because the pipes are going diagonally and I would have to cut and copy the print and make the pattern all align or add a border with a print that could easily match up. I really like the colour scheme of this print it really reminds me of my theme but I don't think it is strong enough to be my final print as it is almost a bit too plain but I feel if I added anything else it would look too busy.
This print was made from the inside of a car fob I thought shape was unusual for a circuit board and thought it would work well. I changed the brightness and contrast to make these dull and I also made them a little opaque just to add to the dullness. I made the sections that are behind from another usually shaped circuit board. I added the layer mode exclusion it gave it a really digital feel as the blue looks like UV and computer lights. The background is just the key fobs printed all over with a blue tint made form the colour balance tool. I really like this because of the digital feel as it reminds me of my technology broken items I brought in and my theme. I think the colours are vibrant and bright. This would really stand out as a print I feel.
